Patient Journey
We ensure safety and high professionalism throughout your journey – from the first non-binding consultation to the final check-up.
Consultation & 3D Simulation
The process always starts with a thorough and calm conversation with consultant surgeon Kristian Bruun Petersen. Here we review your wishes, thoughts, and the anatomy of your nose. We perform a photorealistic Vectra H2 3D simulation of your nose, so we can align expectations and plan the procedure precisely.

Preparation before surgery

You must be aware of any fasting (if the surgery takes place under general anesthesia), and you must avoid certain types of painkillers and supplements that can increase bleeding tendency in the weeks leading up to the procedure.

Day of surgery
You arrive at the clinic, where our experienced anesthesia and surgical nurses welcome you. Kristian marks and reviews the plan with you one last time. The surgery is performed under maximum safety with modern, gentle hybrid techniques. After the surgery, you rest in our recovery room until you are ready to be picked up.

The first time after (0-14 days)
The first few days after surgery, the nose will typically be congested, and there may be slight oozing or nosebleeds. You will have tampons or splints in your nose to hold everything in place. It is crucial that you rest, rinse your nose regularly with saline as directed, and take the prescribed pain medication.
- Regular nasal rinsing
- Pain management
- Sick leave for 10-14 days
Follow-up & Final result
After approx. 1 week, you come for the first check-up at the clinic, where any external splints and sutures are removed. After this, the nose will still be swollen, and the final shaping occurs gradually over the next few months. We see you for follow-up check-ups after 3 and 12 months to ensure that both form and function are absolutely perfect.
- Splint removal after 1 week
- Follow-up after 3 and 12 months
- Natural and lasting result
